Dr. Tim Simpson
A native Abilenian, Dr. Tim Simpson graduated from McMurry University in 1980 and went on to graduate from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1984. Dr. Simpson has since become a well known sedation and cosmetic dentist in the Abilene area due to his skill and experience, as well as the consistent quality of his results. He is married and has three sons and one granddaughter.
Patty Simpson – Executive Director
A registered dental hygienist, Patty earned her B.S. from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1982. She has been active in all aspects of the practice since 1990, including certification in nitrous-oxide and Invisalign® training. In addition to her functions in the office, she has three sons, one granddaughter and enjoys traveling and skiing.
Meagen Erickson – Office Manager
A DAFB transfer brought Washington native Meagen to Abilene. Responsible for overseeing the administrative staff as well as building and maintaining relationships with clients, she ensures that all patients are prepared throughout their treatment experience. She has been with the practice since 1995 and is nitrous-oxide certified and Invisalign®-trained. Active in youth sports, Meagen also enjoys traveling.
Pamela Walker – Appointment Coordinator
Pam is originally from Abilene and has been with us since early 2005. She is trained in Invisalign® and really enjoys greeting and handling patients when they come to see us. She has three children and likes sports and music.
Christy Stokes – Registered Dental Assistant
Originally trained at TSTC in Waco, Christy is a native Abilene resident. She has been dental assisting with Dr. Simpson since 1999 and is nitrous-oxide certified and Invisalign®-trained. Christy is responsible for the pre- and post-treatment needs of our patients. She also oversees our photo gallery and is in charge of team training in the technical area. In her spare time, Christy plays with her two children and enjoys scrapbooking, camping, and traveling.
Sarah Boen Lain, RDH
An Abilene native and a registered dental hygienist, Sarah earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2008 and became a team member after graduation. She is also nitrous-oxide certified and Invisalign trained. Her hobbies include camping, cooking, and sewing.
Merlinda, Accounts Manager
A DAFB transfer also brought Phillipines native Merlinda ? to Abilene. She has 10 years experience in financial and accounting operations with a B.A. in Communications. Her focus here is handling patient accounts and insurance companies. In her free time she enjoys travel, reading, learning foreign languages, and watching sports. She also has three young adult children.
Jessica Davila, Receptionist
Born and raised in Abilene, Jessica handles many important aspects of communication with all of our patients including keeping patient records current and handling phone communications. She graduated from Abilene High and is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. Working out and being outdoors are two of her favorite things to do. She also has a dog named “Furry”.
Ashley Lindsey, Registered Dental Assistant
Fluent in Spanish, Ashley joined our team in 2007 and besides fully assisting the doctor chairside she has her nitrous-oxide certification. She grew up in Abilene graduating from Wylie High School and is currently finishing an English degree at HSU.
She has one child and enjoys cooking, traveling and playing with her four cats.
Callie Poor Shelton, Registered Dental Assistant
Originally from Hawley, Callie started out as our office receptionist, but challenged herself to cross-train to the technical area and become an assistant. She is now conscious-sedation certified and assists the doctor in all aspects of patient care making her a valued team member. Her hobbies include 4-wheeling, riding and sports. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and playing with her dog “Sweet Chuck”.
